Produced and managed visuals for 11 part editorial package on the history of interior design through the lens of Better Homes & Gardens archival photography.
ARCHIVAL RESEARCH
Handled all photo research for this story which required combing through 100 years worth of Better Homes & Gardens back issues searching for photos that best represented each decade. Of the 1000+ images pulled, 150 ultimately were used in the piece.
LONGFORM DESIGN
In collaboration with the design team this story features 10 custom photo collages per decade as well as an animated feature header at the top of the article.
SOCIAL CAMPAIGN
We launched a March Madness style bracket on Instagram to promote the editorial package and encourage social engagement. Users vote each day on their favorite trend.
